The 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee
is a five-seater, sports utility car. It is comes in four different
models – Limited, Laredo, SRT8 and Overland. The SRT8 model is a one
wheel drive while the other three are available with two or four wheel
drive. A 3.7 litre V6 engine with a 210 horsepower is
what powers up the Laredo. The Laredo’s rankings of fuel economy are 15
miles per gallon in the city and 19 miles per gallon on the freeway.A 4.7 litre V8 engine gives power to the Limited and it has a horsepower of 305. It has a 14 miles per gallon fuel economy rating on the city roads and a rating of 19 miles per gallon on the freeway. The Overland is powered by a 5.7 litre hemi motor that has a horsepower of 330. It has a 18 miles per gallon rating on the highway and has a rating of 13 miles per gallon on the city roads. A five speed automatic transmission is equipped in all three models. The SRT8 model has a fuel economy of 13 miles per gallon on the city roads and 18 miles per gallon rating on the highway. It is powered by a 6.1 litre hemi motor and has a horsepower rating of 420.
The 2012 Grand Cherokee Laredo has a power driver seat, 17 inch tires, air conditioning, a tilt steering wheel, a computer, a satellite radio and a music system with a compact disc player. A sunroof, remote starts, leather seats, heated front and back seats, adjustable pedals, Boston Acoustics speakers and a music system with DVD player in the dashboard is all equipped within the 2012 Grand Cherokee Limited. 20 inch tires and suspensions that are sports tuned are a part of the Grand Cherokee SRT8. The Grand Cherokee Overland is fully equipped with HID headlights, 18 inch tires, Bluetooth connection, music navigation system that is a hard drive based MYGIG as well as superior quality leather seats.

The most interesting news by far that we have received about the 2012 Cherokee SRT8 is that it will be equipped with 8 speed automatic transmission and a hemi V8 6.4 litre that is able to give off a horsepower of approximately 510. It also offers a 510 pound foot of torque. This is not yet confirmed officially.
